We distinguish the traveler from the tourist. One embraces the indigenous culture while the other remains insulated from it. So too with our wiki homes. We can read other wiki like the tourist or we can make new sites like the traveler and arrange each to fit into the new neighborhood.
Know too that when we travel we can reach back to our old homes to fork the familiar found there forward to the new place like extra luggage.
Our best advice is to travel light. Bring more of your other life to a new place in a few months or years after you have grown to appreciate exactly how it might fit in.
Attending school is traveling to collect new knowledge and relationships that should last a lifetime.
